Terms
Plain-English terms
Use of Leadline is governed by the terms below. They are written to be readable, not to win a courtroom argument.
Service description
Leadline is a Chrome extension and a SaaS workspace for finding local businesses, working a call list, and tracking what converts. The extension is provided as-is; the workspace is provided on a per-organisation subscription. We may add or remove features as the product evolves — we will announce material changes via the changelog.
Accounts
Solo mode is account-free — install the extension and start. Team mode requires an account; the person who creates the workspace becomes its owner and is responsible for invites and billing. Magic-link sign-in via Better Auth; session cookies are httpOnly + secure + sameSite=lax.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape a page behind a login you do not have access to. Do not use Leadline to harvest personal data outside the legitimate-interest scope you operate under. Do not abuse Calling credit or use it for unsolicited bulk contact. Do not resell the service as a white-label product. We may suspend access for violations.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including lost leads, lost calls, or revenue impact. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes
We will announce material changes by emailing Team workspace owners and posting a changelog entry. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance. You can export your data and cancel at any time before a change takes effect.
Placeholder — needs legal review before launch
These terms describe how the service actually works, but they are not yet lawyer-reviewed. Treat them as a draft.
